Why is the hotel so spooky?
The Crescent Hotel and Spa was constructed way back in 1886 by Isaac S. Taylor, an architect from Missouri. The project took about 6 years and the Victorian architecture lends to its eery design.
With every update, the owners make sure to keep to the hotels original form. There are no plans to modernize construction. So, creeks and cracks and long, dark hallways are to be expected.
